The second annual Tasty Awards were held at the Egyptian Theater in Hollywood, California on Thursday, January 13th, 2010. The event celebrated the best in food, fashion, travel & home lifestyle programs and was hosted by Zane Lamprey. Food and Fashion TV stars such as multi-talented Olympic Gold Medal winner Brian Boitano, Chef Nathan Lyon, Thirsty Girl Leslie Sbrocco, Jolene Sugarbaker of the Trailer Park Cooking, Fabio Viviani, Luciene Salomone, Peter Ishkhans, Chef Tanay Holland, Bobby Bogner, Susan Sterling, Vivien-Valentine Hidalgo, & Libby Platus were in attendance among many other nominees, judges, presenters & entertainment industry guests.

Amy Paffath of E! News was one of the presenters at the event. She has worked at a variety of broadcast outlets including MTV. 2011 is seeing more and more Filipino celebrities connecting with fans online, using established and emerging social media networks such as Facebook, Twitter, blogs, and other services. Manila tour guide Carlos Celdran tweeted from jail when he was arrested after staging a protest action in Manila Cathedral.
